Accommodation

All 600 rooms and suites enjoy a spectacular panorama of the sea, many with private balconies. At 50 square metres in area, the rooms far exceed international standards and are bigger than those found in most other international hotels. In keeping with the its unique architecture, the hotel's rooms are full of character - combining richly coloured fabrics, hand crafted furniture and limited edition artworks. With a walk-in shower room, large bath and luxury fittings, the bathrooms also exceed the usual international standards. Many of the rooms have private balconies, enjoying a dramatic view over pools and gardens, beach and the Arabian Gulf. Natural light from the large floor to ceiling windows is in abundance and luxury furniture and fixtures ensure an environment that pleases the most discerning. Much of the furniture in the guest rooms, including the dressing tables, mirror surrounds and headboards has been manufactured locally, using maple with a burred oak inlay, rattan surround and stainless steel trim. The elegant decor of the rooms includes a series of original abstract paintings by British artist Shelley Tehrani reflecting the colour themes in the 'four elements of nature' concept. The 551 Deluxe Rooms include two rooms with facilities for the disabled and 33 connecting rooms. Whereas 48 suites comprise of 5 Junior Suites, 9 one bedroom suites, 21 two bedroom suites, 5 three bedroom suites, 1 Presidential Suite, 1 Royal Suite and 6 Beachcombers Suite. The Beit Al Bahar Villas are divided into 6 one bedroom villas and 13 two bedroom villas.

The Viennese Cafe is the sweet finale at The Colonnade featuring a range of pastries, cakes, chocolates and freshly baked breads such as poppy seed rolls and croissants Take a trip along the marina breakwater to one of Dubai's most breathtaking destinations. The Marina Seafood Restaurant offers oceanfront views, art deco interiors and the freshest catch of the day. In addition to these the restaurants you get American, Italian, German, Argentinean, Mid- Eastern and English Cuisine in the various speciality restaurants situated all over the hotel. Whether it's sophistication and intimacy or laughter and informality, the hotel has all kinds of dining experiences for the discerning traveller. Guests can eat overlooking the beach just yards from the Arabian Gulf - or high up on the 24th floor where the views are breathtaking. The Pavilion Marina & Sports Club Designed in the shape of a Nautilus shell, overlooking the Marina and Resort Beaches, this two-storey building has a floor area of 2500 square metres. Facilities: Ground Level - - 3 squash courts - ‘Waterfront’ café, which opens out onto the double height foyer - Changing rooms with some 180 lockers on each side - A sports and leisure retail outlet - The Pavilion Dive Centre (PADI 5 star Golden Palm Instructor Development Centre) offering a full range of courses, daily dive trips and a retail outlet. It is adjacent to the sports club, near the marina slipway and mooring pontoons. Upper Level - - The gymnasium features 70 pieces of nautilus equipment, extensive cardiovascular area and a separate free weights section. The gym occupies 400 square metres and has full height glazing, giving fantastic views over the Resort and Marina. Personal training programmes are also available with our qualified instructors. - The Health Suite incorporates two saunas, three hot tubs, steam room, Jacuzzi, plunge pool and two massage rooms. Treatments offered include aromatherapy, reflexology, shiatsu and facials. - The Group Fitness Room covering 170 square metres fully equipped with ballet rails and mirrors. Fitness classes are regularly held including Yoga, Karate Classes, RPM, Body Pump and Body Combat. External - - 4 swimming pools - main pool, family pool with an adjacent childrens pool and a 25-metre lap pool - 7 floodlit competition standard tennis courts, one of which is multipurpose to include volleyball and basketball. - A mini putting green and golf driving nets - A family adventure Playground, consisting of raised walkways with a variety of play features including swings, slides, climbing structures, tunnels and rope walkways. The equipment is padded for user safety.
